These mini discs are as versatile as they are popular. Marvel offers a comprehensive selection which includes various backings, grains and grit sizes to satisfy a wide range of applications.

Cloth

Tough resin bonded polyester allows for maxibility and adaptability to contured surfaces.

Fibre

Stiff resin bonded vulcanized fibre provides for maximum aggression and durability. Totally eliminates snagging and tearing that may occur with cloth discs.

Safety Recommendations

Always twist disc firmly into like-sized back-up holder pad.

Maximum operating speeds of discs are the same as the maximum RPM ratings listed on hubs of the like-sized back-up holder pads.

It is important that a like-sized back-up holder pad be used with disc.

Applications

Cloth

Excellent for grinding contoured and irregular surfaces.

Especially well-suited for a wide range of general purpose applications.

Zirconia discs have a pink layer of grinding aids applied to grain surface. These promote cooler cutting and a more efficient cutting action when grinding stainless steel and exotic alloys (use on dry grinding applications only).

Aluminum oxide discs are made of a heat treated grain. The backing material is highly resistant to edge wear under heavy pressure. This fully water-resistant material performs extremely well on all materials.

Fibre

Excellent when fast stock removal is required.

Up to 10 times the life of similar grains on cloth discs.
